That watch does not match all but who the hell cares. I'm sure you are drunk and buzzing right now.

Allez Les Bleus and all that. Well done. They were the best team and deserve to win the whole thing.

What a fabulous tournament. Also, not often you get a good final but it was great.

...and now you can finally take that strap off and wash it! But, seriously, congratulations to France on a great tournament. Enjoy your celebration (but don’t forget to go to work tomorrow).

Great match. Bravo la France! They've been clearly superior all along the tournament.

Although my allegiance truly was with the French team I would have like to see Croatia score more and make the game more competitive. Congratulations to France and condolences and congratulations to Croatia.

Cheers all!

Already looking forward to 2022, but will enjoy the next four years re-living the memories of this World Cup.

Great game and a deserved win 'pour les bleus'. What about the Croation President? She was in the stands at every one of their games and flew economy on each flight between them! Respect.

Well done to France and you must be buzzing Cru!

And told you Mbappe could make an impact like a teenage Pele in '58, I knew he had it in him.

Indeed, it's really very easy to tell at work today who cares (the "happy zombies") and who doesn't care (the "fresh and focused") about the World Cup.

I'm happy to say that you were right about Mbappe, Neil!

Let's just hope that he can keep things going in the right direction, and that those couple of mental lapses he had later in the tournament were just due to youth and inexperience.

You are lucky to have him, I just wish Kane could have carried on performing after the group stages.
