Recommend a light / comfortable AP??

The AP bug has hit - and I started doing some research into the model I would like to own.

Can anybody recommend a comfortable / light AP? I know many of them are on the heavier side. Preferable budget under $20K.

My wrists are on the smaller side, and I start getting wrist pain fairly quickly with a top heavy watch, rubber strap or not. I found the 6 digit SS SUB uncomfortable for daily wear, but have no issues with the 5 digit.

Any suggestions, wrist shots, etc are highly appreciated!

Regular steel RO is hardly heavy, so you’re fine there. If you fancy something a bit more substantial, then ROO in ceramic or forged carbon.
If you want Titanium, then it’s going to be a 2003 300-pieces LE City of Sails (blue/yellow dial).

Forged carbon ROO diver or a 15300/15400 with rubber or leather strap conversion should do the trick. The steel bracelet might also be ok for you, but probably close to six digit sub weight.

I can only suggest small size, light weight. You might find an older 14800ST on a strap. This is my daily wear and has been for years. I have small wrist and the 36 mm diameter fits like glove. This is stainless and the first RO fitted with a strap. By careful looking around, you could find one in 9-11 k range in great shape.

Either 15450 for diameter, or the FC/CE divers.

Ceramic diver is very comfortable and feels quite light in regards to the size

FC, so Diver or Ginza if 42 size is OK.

Look for something made of Titanium or Forge Carbon. I think there is a newly released Ti ROO with a blue dial. Should be very comfortable. Not sure the price though.

Thanks guys. Definitely gives me some options to consider.

Any chronographs that fall into the light / comfortable category?

And to top it off it’s also one of the finest watches I’ve ever seen in person.

My wrists are not large.
Had a 44mm forged carbon chrono.
Very light, comfortable.

Try a Ti, FC, or ceramic model.
