Thanks Jay, we appear to share the same wrist size too

I have owned the watch twice and love it, however the weight is too much and comfort poor for me . Unfortunately, anything below 140g is my sweet spot. Great watch tho!

i am starting to think its not just about the size of the wrist that matters. because of the protruding case back, only people with a stronger, more muscular hand will feel comfortable wearing the SD43.

No wrist pain here, it has been my daily for over 2 1/2 years. Like others have said, you just need the perfect fit with the micro adjustment. I have a 7.5" wrist for reference.

I don’t have a SD but I have this problem with regular Subs. 16610, 116610 and 116613 all gave me this same pain - from the raised caseback and the way it sits on my wrist. Definitely a shape thing not a weight thing as my 116505, 116655 and 118238 are significantly heavier and never caused an issue. Neither did my CHNR TT which has the same case shape but different caseback. So I’ve narrowed it down to caseback shape which seems to be the consensus for others too unfortunately.

Personally I sold off my SD43 due to the thickness and weight of the watch. The watch is rather big as well. I favour 40mm rolex submariner anytime over a SD43.
