I thought it was a bit steep. I think they are trying their luck with the option of reducing the price if it doesn't sell. Noticed that they do that quite a lot.

Pricing of timepieces in London always seem to be on the clown-ish side. Visit NYC, parts of Italy, etc for those who are more realistic. Perhaps the endless wealth from the City Of London types might be to blame for UK pricing? Even Chrono24 has one for $23999 USD http://www.chrono24.com/en/patekphil...-id4423450.htm. From a NYC source you can probably find it for a bit less.
