Will you sell an SD to fund this watch?

I have 2 SDs. I am thinking of selling one SD and then buying one of these:

http://blog.perpetuelle.com/index.ph...any-condition/

It even makes the DEEPSEA look like a flat Cellini watch ....

Got some questions though:
1) Is CX Swiss military a reputable company?
2) Any one here as seen or had personal experience with this watch?
3) What kind of resale am I looking at?

Thanks,

Personally--No. I think that is one ugly watch IMHO. Sorry but that is my feeling! Keep your SD or trade for a Sub!

The top view looks cool, but the side view loses it's luster....It sits over an inch tall right? The center of gravity and where the the bracelet sits would fit odd IMHO...but if you like it go for it.....

Why not just strap the two SD's one on top of the other.

They would then be just as thick as the CX, be good for 8000 ft and you would have a GMT function.

Resale on the CX down the track might be good if you find someone who has a boat.

Even the DSSD is stretching the boundaries of what one can wear comfortably all day long. That CX thing is not really nice, not really wearable and makes no sense at all IMHO. If you want an extreme watch that works 12 kms underwater, check out some oil filled pieces instead.

I'll be the first to say that if I had two Sea Dwellers, I'd trade one for this watch. What else would I wear the next time I dive to 20,000 feet. I like it.

If you got to ask that question on a Rolex watch forum most will say no,and I must say I agree with them.

You'd need a tow truck to take this watch home from the store. :D

I'd keep the SD if I were you.

I wouldn't touch a Swiss Military watch with a ten foot pole and I wouldn't part with a so much as a Timex to fund one.

X2!

If you have too many Dwellers, then maybe something else? A Blancpain Fifty Fathoms?

Seriously, I wouldn't sell a Casio to 'fund' that monstrosity, let alone a SD. I wouldn't wear it if it were a gift. Keep your Rolexes.

There are very few things that I would consider trading my Sea Dweller for (food, shelter, water) and the watch you have shown is certainly not one of them.

However...in the end you gotta do what is right for you! Good luck with your decision.
