The best of the steel GMTs imo - I watch I owned twice, but ultimately found too small.

Love mine too!

Swapped it into a brushed bracelet though...

Not hard to see why. Personally I’m not a fan of the green hand but my own Rolex GMT is without doubt my main go to watch. Love it’s versatility

It’s a classic!! It will only get more admired and more appreciated as time goes on! Hang on to it and keep it clean, it’s only getting harder to get a clean full set with time!

I keep coming back to this...

I realised in May 2019 that I wanted to have it so I asked my AD and he said he’d keep an eye out as they’re going to be discontinued...

In Sept 2019 I started to get really worried and started calling around. Lucky one of my good friends spends a lot of money at the ADs so he put in a call and I could pick it up the same day.

I’m guessing that was one of the last AD-sold black GMT II...

The reason is that it’s the icon. Its how it all began. Its a staple piece historically speaking and much desired for that reason.

Just picked one up from a private seller on TRF...card dated 2019. It's a major comfort improvement over my SD4K. Loving it!
