Can’t go wrong with BLNR on oyster, no longer produced and an icon forever.
I don’t know if the pricing of the extra $ is right but as the watch is out of production you can’t compare MSRP
BLNR has been my favourite Rolex since 2016 and I finally got one in 2018 and still it’s my favourite. Followed closely by platona and YG green dial gmt ! BLNR though is the daily icon! Definitely one of the best watches in the world.
Can’t go wrong

Yes. Exactly my sentiments. The YM doesn't have a clearly defined identity IMHO. Does it need to though?

Yes, the extra $ may have been steep. This was pre-price "fall" thats supposedly occurring.

For a normal person probably not. For someone like me with watch OCD I’m not sure lol.

Congrats but the YM is hardly a dress watch in fact it is not even a dressy sports watch, like a Nautilus or RO, it is pure sports.

Agree with Neil, the YM is not a dress watch, more a luxurious Submariner.

If you prefer the BLNR than you did the right swap. Personally I think the YM is much more interesting and would not even do an even trade.

you 100% did the right trade even with +5K because it is what you WANTED!

You'll soon forget about the dollars, but always remember the BLNR when it is on your wrist.

Selling my blnr is one of my biggest regrets. But at the same time I can’t bring myself to pay the premium to get one again. Hopefully the prices will come down low enough for me to pick one up again.

I got to try on the blue ym at an ad and while it was stunning in person, I also prefer the Blnr. As long as you’re happy with the trade, that’s all that matters. Enjoy in good health!

Congrats OP for getting the watch that you want. But you did overpay by at least 3k. Oyster batman goes for under 10k nowadays and your yacht master for about 7-8k.

Congratulations. The Batman is a great watch and I have never been a huge YM fan and I have even owned one once. Enjoy.

Nice collection. I prefer the look of the GMT over the YM also. As long as you are happy in the end, that’s all that matters.

Respectfully, isn't asking other people's opinions on Rolexes a perk of this forum? Again, no disrespect.
