The pam looks extremely controversial

Sell it and consider a reverso?

If it makes you happy, that is the right decision.

Enjoy your new time piece in good health.

Sorry OP but the Batman is not worth 5k over the YM. Seems a lot. But if it makes you happy fair play. Lift is too short to have regrets.

Is a great choice for you, nothing controversial for me aside that I would have given the Yacht master a second thought, enjoy your Batman.

Yes. I love my BLNR. It’s just about perfect. I have had mine for six years now, still enjoy it.

For a collection a gmt is a must, personally I wouldn’t go Batman, but individual taste varies, so I guess why not. Congrats.

5k on top is a bit steep, but great acquisition

If you are happy, good. I only question giving 5K more for a watch that already costs 2K less than the YM. Awe Hell, Its only money! Enjoy

Why controversial? You got rid of a less popular model for one of the most hyped? I’d say if you did the reverse then you could call the move controversial. I only collect the controversial models.

5k was too much. Even with the inflated prices the Batman sells for under 3k more then the YM blue. You could have sold the YM blue fairly easily imo and only been out of pocket around 2.5-3k max. But then again it’s only money right?

Only if you are willing to pay the inflated gray market prices. Many of us here are not. I will wait for the watch I want, pay MSRP, and know I have a genuine watch.

Yes I do that too. I got all my Rolex from AD at MSRP or less, except the Batman which I had to go grey for because it's discontinued, and not available from AD. I prefer to pay premium for a Batman I want than pay MSRP for a YM I don't want, and even can get at a large discount at its market value. What I wanted to convey in my reply to you is that watches are traded at market value and not at the original MSRP. You opened a totally different subject.
