Wow, has it been 3 months? Car still sitting at the Baltimore port since August waiting for MBUSA to give the dealerships the OK to release the 2019s.

At first I was annoyed, now I find it funny.

Congrats man and welcome to the AMG wives club lol. I got my wife a 63 suv last year. We both love it.
I’m not, not a BMW guy (had an M5) but I just felt the AMG was a more complete street package.
I do love Porsche and have a 911T so the Macan has a lot of appeal to me. My wife didn’t like it that much. I personally think it’s a sweet car after having one for a week as a loaner and might get one as a daily car in the future.

Congrats on having an amazing vehicle added to the stable.

My wife tried the GLC and Macan and walked out with GLS 450. They do nice cars for sure

The updated Macan is around the corner. Pictures just got released a month or two ago. It is going to share the rear taillight design of the new Panamera, and the 2019 Cayenne that is already on our shores! Interior is fully revamped...

Car Talk: Bought a new car for my wife

Buying a new car is always exciting, but waiting for a Porsche is ecstasy

Congratulation to you and your wife.

I was at the dealership yesterday

Very nice! A client of mine took delivery of his Race Yellow GT2RS with Weissach Package in July.

Finally took delivery this past Saturday and put about 200 miles on it. It's a lot of fun, and gave it some throttle here and there. The optional exhaust bangs, cracks, and burbles with the best of them. My wife was a little tentative at first, but was on her way to driving a little too fast without realizing it.

Dropped it off this morning at my detailer for paint correction, CQuartz, and 35% ceramic tints today. Walked in to find a Heritage GT waiting to be picked up, which was a great Monday surprise. Probably the first and only time I will see one up close and personal in the flesh.

Does it come with that screen on the dash? Or is that an iPad?

LOL, that is the infotainment/nav screen. Does not retract. Just stuck on there as if they forgot to implement it in the approved design

Beauty. Congrats!!! I love that matte interior wood, so nice.

And the ipad look for navigation seems to be a trend now. I don't like it all that much but it is a trend.
