GMT LN and DJ41 for SD4k

Trade with a little money coming my way on top of the SD4k. The DJ is blue dial/plain bezel.

What do you think?

As far as the watches go, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I love the SD4k and would pick it out of that trio every time. But it's all about the numbers here. Assuming the SD4k is in good condition, full set, etc, it comes down to how much he's putting on top.

But just in terms of watches, the SD4k is my favorite out of that group by a country mile.

GMT LN and DJ41 for SD4k

Don’t do it! Two is better than one! And you’ve got the classic and sport styles covered already. I have a similar set up with a DD and BLNR and like being able to go between those two styles. I think you’ll miss the DJ and GMT

If it were a RLSD I'd say absolutely. If you just added the RLSD to the mix, I think you'd find the GMT and DJ will stop competing for wrist time. But if you're just adding another 40mm dive watch, no so much.

Where it's not the anniversary edition, I'd say it depends on how much kickback you're getting and how much you want the watch.

I'd do it, then buy a BLNR/BLRO for a nice set. #win

Although I really like the SD, i prefer the two you have... that is, unless you have plans to add something else to the SD with the incoming cash

Every time I have done the BBD (bigger better deal), I have regretted it later. I wish I still had the ones from the past.

I highly recommend you only add when you can afford them. Of course, if you dislike a watch, get rid of it. No use it sitting around with no wrist time. But, otherwise, keep what you have and add when you can afford it.

I would highly resist the temptation to "add what you like better", as that is a slippery slope.

That would be madness to make that trade for an SD4K.

The other party would be winning in that trade, unless the cash back was substantial. You have 2 nice watches.

Not a deal that I would do. After the honeymoon with the SD4K is over, you’ll definitely feel some remorse.

If you have the funds, keep both and add the SD4K.

It’s not clear since no one knows how much money you are getting with the SD4k in exchange for your two watches. Assuming the money back works out in your favor, I’d still have a tough time trading those two.
