Same feeling about the new Heuer Autavia. Why put a date function? The original didnt have a date window. Same theory, makes me think they used an already available movement to save money. Cheapens the watch IMO.

All due respect, this post is not saying anything we don't already know: sure the Daytona can't hold a candle to VC Overseas (especially the Gen 2). We know... It's like saying Tom Brady is a better QB than Phill Simms (i.e. one is great today and one is just remembering the glory days of yesteryear). But this is the Rolex forum, man! As an aside, however, of the watches the VC ACTUALLY compares to, the Overseas is way cooler than any AP RO or ROO, so nice work!!!
