Amazing, some people most have been born into money. Can't imagine some of the replies coming from someone with a brain that can actually read.

OP, huge congrats to your wife, what a stunning watch.

FYI, I have zero history with AP, ordered my favorite version of the 15500 in Nov.2019 and it came in end of last month at the boutique, picking it up in 2 weeks.

Yes...AP opened a boutique in Aspen after I started this thread. Then, I began building a relationship with them and just purchased my first AP, a 50th Anniversary edition 37MM with diamond bezel for my wife.

SO AWESOME! Congrats! Having patience really pays off it seems. I wonder how many people that complain about not being able to get one would sing a different story, if like you, they were patient? Yes, 2.5 years is a long wait, but 100% worth it!

Feels like you and I are pretty good examples of how to get started with AP and still get watches that we really do want. For me, my next will actually be an easier to get ROOC I think. The patience on that one will take re-growing the watch fund more then being able to get one allocated though.

Thanks! No worries...the thread is thankfully getting longer. Someday I will bump it to the top with an AP of my own! I wish my wives wrist wasn't so small...or my hand so big. I can't even slide hers over my hand!

I would totally sit on the couch wearing it while watching TV after she went to bed

It is possible…. Go there and expose your wishing and try to build credibility and I think you will have one…. Unfortunately not very soon in actually conditions……
No one of this forum don’t want to feed grey market but unfortunately for many this is the only way….. I read one post that in this day you even go to an AP Boutique without previous appointment….

Congratulations. There's nothing like paying the 'wife tax' upfront!

That's on my wife's wish list for this year too.
