Given that it has the old style dial layout, incl. AP logo, I'd say that it is indeed on it's way out, superseded by the 26240.

Per my boutique, it is done. Had a 6 month run.

Replaced by the 26240.

I was lucky to get one.

Yes, it is done, but I personally think the same dial style of 26239 (Contrasting sub dial colors) will return next year with a new Ref. No. and 26240 will be discontinued. This will make 26240 only available with 50th year Rotor and become very special. Production number of 26240 is actually higher than normal production of ROC in a year (maybe equal to 2-3 years of production of normal ROC), but they are mostly distributed to the right customers, not flippers. So there will not be many items available in the secondary market.
As for 26239, I would love to see their return in SS and hope there will be a chance for me to own one.
Anyway, this is just my guess and comment.

Yeah, quite the mass exodus to legacy land; essentially everything that got a 50th anniversary successor moved - not unexpected, of course.

Yes. 15500 still in current collection though. Expected that to move off.

My AD told me that from next year 26240 will be available only rotor on movement will be changed and don’t have 50 anniversary on it.
Don’t discuss about 26239 discontinued but he told me that 26331 will be discontinued and replaced with 26240…..
so, I think that will be discontinued forever and will be replaced by new 26240 who match that actually brand direction without AP on the dial….
Yes, who have one have a very short produced AP ROC….
I check now and not appear on AP site …..

Incredibly short run for the 26239. Was offered this one (below) Summer last year and decided to not take it........and no, for the life of me I cannot remember why as it was gorgeous
