Which model might I end up getting?

Hey guys - it looks like the 15450 have all been removed from the website and all that remains are the 15550 models.

Does this mean that no more of the 15450 are being shipped out?

My SA told me (as a first time AP buyer) that my allocation was approved for a 37m RO and i will be getting the call sometime this year, but said he had no idea if it would be 1) the old 15450, 2) the new 15550 anniversary or 3) the new 15550 non-anniversary.

Is this normal for them to have no idea which one you will end up getting? With the 15450 being removed does it make it so that's not possible?

I assume with being told my allocation is approved and I will get a call sometime this year - that this is fairly set in stone - at least for AP.

Also if I'm getting the call sometime this year is option 3 even possible?

Appreciate thoughts on what is likely for me to receive in the end.

Thanks

If the 15450 isn't already in transit for you, I would think that you just might get lucky and end up with the 50th 15550. If you are dealing with an AP boutique and they tell you that you will be getting an allocation this year, it's more than likely going to happen.

15550 non anniversary means next year because this year they produce 50 anniversary

This was my thought exactly. You might end up with a 50th, which would be incredible, or have to wait a bit into next year. In any case, if they said you’re getting one, you’re getting one - just have to wait. Personally, my fingers are crossed that you get a 50th because that would be an epic first piece! :)

Interesting. I was assuming they would. It be producing any 15550 non anniversary until next year. Really looking forward to the incoming if your SA verbalized you should receive an allocation.

Since this will be your first piece from AP…how long have you been in contact with your boutique? The 37mm in the white dial is my first dream piece from AP l, but literally just met with my SA this month for the first time. Haha.

Yes it's an AP boutique. I guess not sure why they wouldn't specify it being a 50th if they said it would be sometime this year.

Maybe to pleasantly surprise me?

It has been about a year, but had a good story and some things I think they really liked about me.
