Bob's, Davidsw, OC.

Avoid-Ebay, chrono24, private sellers on this or any other forums.

I say to get an OP41 or Airking from your Authorized dealer for that budget

If used, you should be able to find a decent, relatively modern 5-digit SS Datejust in that price range. I bought a circa-2003 DJ from HQ Milton earlier this year within that budget. It’s a wonderful all-purpose watch.

Cartier Santos, but you would have to go around 7K for a new one.

I'm going to say the cheaper date justs, if you can stretch your budget another K. I need a date so the OP wasn't even a consideration for me.

I would consider Crypto or NFT's a good investment. You can make better investments if your primary goal is to make returns!

Add a little and get a 14270 or 114270. Try Watchrecon and learn who the trusted sellers are.

Excellent. There's your answer. Definitely a contender for a one-watch collection.

Otherwise, you could go vintage with something like a DateJust 1601, and have enough left over for some nice champagne to celebrate it.
