"Precision" and "Super Precision"

Hi Again, Still researching my 5500 Explorer from 1963. The dial markings include the words "Super Precision" other examples are printed "Precision". Now I am guessing that neither of these would achieve chronometric standards, otherwise they would have been certified, but is there any known difference between "SP" and "P" or is it simply a matter of the fashion of the moment? Thanks guys (and ladies).

I´m not 100% sure but if my memory serves me....
The difference is the number of jewels used!

You will find non chronometers that run in the COSC standard but
also chronometers that do not ;-)
