Myself and my oldest Grandson doing a bit of all night fishing, pictures taken at 2.30 am at my local lake about 5 mins from my home.Myself missed a huge Carp, got snapped in the weeds. But Marcus done quite well a mixed bag,and a Pike of 23lbs,all fish returned to fight another day.

You just gotta know what fights to pick, Padi, and in my view, that's not one of them. It'll take a little time, but most likely he'll outgrow this phase.

BTW, what do you do with the fish? Looks like they'd make good grilling.

All fish are returned to fight another day,but if we catch a Pike around the 10 pound mark, they make quite good eating.Expect we will have another session over the weekend. The reason for the long hair,he plays lead guitar in his local heavy rock band. And if I say so, considering he has only been playing a few years,he shows quite a gifted talent. Both for heavy rock type guitar to the John Williams type of music.

Ahhh, that explains a lot. However, you could suggest that he follow the lead of Metallica, where three members of the band cut their hair short and still rock!!! Here's what James Hetfield (lead) looks like now:

Metallica rocks. I've seen then five times and have never come away less than blown away from their stage show and cleanness of sound.

And my favorite to play on the jukebox at a biker bar...

Say your prayers little one
Dont forget, my son
To include everyone

Tuck you in, warm within
Keep you free from sin
Till the sandman he comes

Sleep with one eye open
Gripping your pillow tight

Exit light
Enter night
Take my hand
Off to never never land

I've seen Whitesnake back in their heyday Padi. They put on one heck of a show. Matter of fact they opened for Motley Crue at the time.

Motley Crue another great band, how nostalgia comes flooding back to past days.Getting mature aged now,but in the past, quite a wild rocker, and they were very happy days.

Awwww... Now see how important hijacking a thread can be? It brought us all so much closer reminiscing about our past. I, for one, appreciate a good ZZ Top concert, or Jethro Tull Live & Up Close, or Heart in the early days (kicked butt - one of the best little-known guitarist in all of rockdom), or Santana, or...

I saw ZZ Top back in the early 90's. Think it was on the Recycler tour. They had conveyer belts that Gibbons and Hill palyed on. They also has TV monitors in their 'junkyard' that Beard played upon. The screens had porn playing on them during the show. The concert was very good.

I BET the concert was good!!!

I saw them in Jacksonville in '79 during the Degüello tour. In my opinion, that was the classic, quintessential ZZ Top album. The concert was awesome, of course, but somehow missed the porn!
