Be Careful of Wingate's Watches

"Customized" If Rolex didn;t do it themselves they will never recognize it therefore its not authentic. Its a shame theres companies that do it but its not illegal since it clearly stated custom. Just liek if you put custom rims on a Corvette GM would not call them authentic to the original vehicle. good luck though and thanks for the heads up in the future.

I for one believe that you are not familiar with the term "Custom"
or "Customised" especially where it means after-market/Non Rolex.
I also believe that you thought you were buying an all original Rolex watch.

On the other hand...
Although they did not say this bezel and this dial are not
Rolex made and are aftermarket accessories - they did not charge you
for Rolex original accessories...these two parts cost "an arm and a leg" from Rolex.
They just "assumed you knew what it meant when they said... Customised

But....now we come to the good part...you paid with a credit card
and once you tell your credit card company what Rolex said when
they checked the watch
...The addition of non-genuine parts to any Rolex watch renders it
a counterfeit as defined by Federal Law.... blah blah blah etc.
Will force Wingate to take the watch back as the credit card will reverse
the card charge and give you credit...I do not see them operating without VISA anymore - do you ?

probably you got a good deal and you do not want to return it .

Tempoking pretty much nailed it here. I don't believe Wingates misrepresented the watch, but they are probably guilty of poor customer service. As Tempoking noted, your credit card company should be able to help you out with this purchase.
