John, the reason why I asked is that we have discussed your stunning "P" on many occasions through this forum. And having seen some of your collection playing in or near the water and a member asking where was the 5711P. It suddenly dawn on me, that I wasn't sure what the depth rating was?

But in fact your question is very good, because since 5 years I owned this 5711, I never asked me if the water resistant was different because the platinum.
For me it was evident but I don't know really
