I really love this watch having owned Panerai, Hublot and AP.

The Deepsea is so solid it reeks of QUALITY!

Definitely a keeper for me!

I saw this watch in Dubai and didnt try it on. So when I was in South Africa I was like let me just try this on and see what it looks like. I was sold. I am an Attack Pilot who is in Afghanistan right now. I just bought one. Cant wait til I get it in the mail!! The funny thing is I really like Bulova watches but you cant compair the the beauty of this watch.

44mm is not a "large" watch by any standards today, especially when you see 47mm and above. If it wasn't for the DSSD I would not bought a Rolex and do not care about their other watches. Collectors will not look at Rolex anymore especially with the number of units they produce every year. The thin watches is something watch manufacturers are trying to push, but I do not see it happening.

Thanks for sharing such a great review. It was detailed and you hit all the main points I usually think about when purchasing a new watch. You definitely have me sold!

What can anyone tell me about the new deep sea dweller "challange".

I saw it on there website but it's not out yet.

Timing?
Price?

We all know it will be impossible to get.

Thanks
