Please stop telling me to take the stickers off my Rolex

Because I already did!

https://youtu.be/mw-aswFeWp8

this was long overdue it was fun while it lasted but I decided it was finally time to remove the stickers.

they started getting worn out and felt weird next to my wrist and started looking weird as well I thought you guys might laugh from the editing I did

to my knowledge now don't quote me on this but every new Rolex is supposed to be shipped with stickers/decals (usually the AD removes them before selling them but I got mine with them)

Great. Stickers that are peeling off while worn, is not a great sight on an otherwise beautiful watch.

Yes. Although I was crazy to keep them on when they were perfect keeping them on after getting wet and worn out was definitely not acceptable

I know you're kidding, but I think you would be surprised at the number of people who buy watches, leave the stickers on, wear them for a while, and then try to sell them as NIB with stickers. I've seen it several times.

Indeed. Someone tried to sell me an Exp 42 in the same manner. Stickers were minging. Lol.

Just wondered why you thought it necessary to quote the cost of your watch in the title of your YouTube vid?

Is owning a Rolex all about status for you?

no actually I have an app called TubeBuddy that recommends titles and tags for the videos and it said that title would get the video more views and if you look at the last 2 videos before this one I think it worked

Fair enough, but it still makes no sense to me.

If I wanted to search You Tube for videos of that watch I would just type in the search bar 'Yacht Master II' or 'YMII' not '$38,000 YMII'

...but hey, whatever, at least the stickers came off, that's the main thing.

It’s clickbait just like the title of this thread.

Large dollar amount + “rolex” + social request/response (please don’t, I finally, this just happened , oh my gosh) == conspicuous consumption machine

You missed the reference number which is how i would search for information.
