Ok the new novelties are presented

The new ceramic diver is stunning however i do prefer FC over Ceramic, Orange is one of my favorite colors as you all know

Only the Diver is discontinued in FC so far but presenting a updated 44mm ROO gets curious if the actually will put the FC to ground in the future.

I could think of some reason why...

1 Cost more and takes more time to make the FC

2 The hole middle case needs to be replaced when tube is worned down, But i also think the new Ceramic cases would need to be replaced as well when the tube is bad.

Will let you know later this week after my friend has had there meeting with AP

There are orange aquatimers too...

So not sure the color change solves that "issue" (if it is one for people)

Thank you for clarifying that point for me.

Still I'm sure it is only a matter of time until all of the Forged Carbon cases are discontinued.

I also prefer the Forged Carbon case, but the orange looks less IWC like to me.

Can you please elaborate on point number 2. Thanks!

Honestly not excited at all this year. Diver with a different material.. 44mm Off with a different material.. big deal. Yes, they are nice looking etc. but it's just a material change. However the GRANDE COMPLICATION ROO's are stunning.. but the pics have been out for months on these beauties, so I've seen them already.. so the excitement has worn off.

I'm really starting to dig the Tourbillon Minute Repeater Chronograph after staring at it all day. Funny thing is I'm not a huge fan of Tourbillons or Chronographs.

Love the ceramic, have been holding off for years for an "all black" purchase.

Hold off no more, when will they be available in the boutique??

I love the clear caseback, finally you can see the calibre 3120!!

When you look at the shot of the back, you can see that it has still the plastic on it except for the lugs where the ceramic seems matt... So is the case and the bezel matt except for the sides of the bezel which is glossy?

The source on your pictures is wrong. It's not Edgematic and RWG(which is a replica site)

It's Howard Parr and Timezone.

The back is matte while the rest of the body is brushed with polished edges. Typical extraordinary AP finishing.

I just checked that RWG site and it is pretty scary what you see in there!!! There has to be a way to get websites like RWG removed.

+1. To an untrained eye some of the replicas are scarily good from the outside.

The scariest part is that some of the ones they are discussing on that freakin' website are scary close even to my trained eye, having owned APs since 1998.

I own a Diver and what I just saw scared me a lot.

The scary moment is the fact that Breitling replicas are scarily good even to the trained eye...

I always thought that 44mm ROO FC with ceramic bezel was "too much black" for my taste, almost too boring unless its direct sunlight. now with new 44mm being all ceramic the watch looks way to boring. Lagacy is different story, touch of RG changes the look a lot. New diver with some orange is nice combo.
I agree with you that ceramic case, ceramet bezel would be a great combo on 44mm ROO.

The mottled appearance of FC gives it more visual depth than the ceramic likely will IMO. I'll reserve judgement until I handle the new model but I prefer the look of the FC model but like the scratch resistance of the new ceramic case. Maybe AP can merge the qualities of both?
