MODS HELP - out of room - can't post pictures

May I please offer a suggestion as to this issue that could possibly work better for everyone....
I had never looked at the amount of attachments that I personally had on this forum (105 attachments for 7.78MB) until this issue came up.
Most all of this is old. I could very easily free up most all of this space if allowed or had the ability to manage my personal account.
Set up a maximum, say 5MB, or something like that and give the member the ability to delete to stay within said amount.
I am the primary investor in another website in a completely different industry. We have a message board or forum and I do understand the need to manage space.
I have also worked in photography for over 30 yrs and have had my computer HACKED by Photobucket. That is why I would prefer not to use these 3rd party accounts.
Thank you for allowing the existing space to be expanded and thank you for a great site. Just a possible suggestion that you might consider.

The reason that members cannot "edit" after an hour, and cannot delete their posted photos is because of abuse..

Every time that a member gets in a huff (OK, not every time) they want to delete all of their posts, take their pictures off, and somehow punish TRF because they aren't getting their own way...

TRF has had to limit such behaviour so that the archived articles have some cohesiveness..

As Steve has said a couple of times on this thread..... there is now no limit to attached photos..

But, if there are some who have decided that TRF isn't worth the effort to post photos, it's fine by me...... I don't think that we're going to suffer if a few don't use the bandwidth....
