First, I would like to thank everyone with whom I have talked, texted, PM'd, Whatsapp'd (

is that even a word?) who have brought fresh ideas and supported the concept of a NRD for the Vegas 2017 event.

As you have seen in the Vegas thread, a now show impacts significantly on costs, and general consensus is that, if we are doing this for fun, why should anyone be stuck with the bill of a no show.

The general consensus is that a NRD in the amount of $100us in in order for the Vegas event. This will provide funds to make necessary arrangements and cover no shows, which impact directly in a per person penalty and not meeting minimums.

The NRD will reserve a spot for the 2017 Vegas GTG, for which we can only receive 45 people. That is 45 total, including companions. NRD will also include a participation in a special giveaway (I am working on details on how to make this fun and fair).

I have opened a PayPal account for this (newbie here). Based on curent list, I advise you reserve a spot asap.

Putting everything together for the trip this week. NRD sent.

Wife may be more excited than me. It is our 15 year wedding anniversary next year and we got married in........Vegas! Looking forward to meeting everyone and putting faces with user names.

Question: does everyone stay in the same hotel? My timeshare has a few properties in the area and I actually need to burn some points. Just curious if we can pick where we stay?
