Anyone has a well kept Mercedes Benz S Class W126 or W126 coupe to share?

My father had a 280SE W126 in the mid 80s till the late 90s. It was sold when it got a bit too expensive to maintain at that time. It is like a car that I grew up in. Lots of family trips, school runs or weekend drive in that car. All my siblings and I were upset when the car was let go for a brand new Japanese.

20 years later, today, for some strange reason, the W126 itch is coming back to me. Maybe it is a sign of old age or mid life crisis.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but organized a little g2g with some friends. Result? I think a diverse mix of old and new, all who share the same passions.

Same g2g; about 8 cars turned up with another 3 supposed on their way, but we had to vacate the premises due to, erm, police presence. We made no noise, were not disruptive but apparently were taking up space in a private parking lot.

Picked up a new to me 01 Modena 6speed mt car last week in rosa florino.
Getting major svc completed before some back road drives.

Anyone else into the older f cars?

Several owners picked up their new GT2RS last Friday. What better way than to spend some track time on a former F1 circuit, right?
