looks like an industrial accident. The arm probably wasn't still attached to the watch afterward.

I'm kind of thinking that its a have ago watch repairer from a developing country using a hammer and screwdriver approach to opening it... as the front is not chewed up, I have asked so await a reply.... if any

looks like it was viced from the 6 oclock lugs and someone tried to force the caseback open with a chisel and the crown as leverage.

clearly didn't know it was a screw back.

still worth $3-$4k in parts.

well his response was....

I do not have any history. This is how i bought the watch. I cannot tell you if the movement is fixable. I really do not know. Its more for spares.

not sure if id pay £3-£4k for it knowing the sellers track record for selling less than useable parts in the past.
