Yes, but be careful of the barracuda, they love shiny things.

Was just there for a week from Feb 12-19. A very nice and tranquil island and seemed very safe wherever you went.

Talk to Alfredo Buenfil at UltraJewels La Isla Mall. Tell him the lucky American who bought the Daytona C is still waiting for his tax refund.

Good tip, don’t let them process your tax refund. Do it yourself.

Once I visited Mexico City and I have only good memories of that place. I think it's safe but here is a list of local phone codes https://areaphonecodes.com/mexico/ just in case. Never knows when it might help. Have a nice trip!

One note i might chime in on is...At IBM the top sales would take "vacations there for a week as a prize" One of the women in sales was attacked on the foot....she was wearing an ankle bracelet and was "bitten " by one and needed surgery etc. They took her to local hospital in Cancun and no doc would touch her without money upfront. It took VP with a 50k limit on IBM Visa card to get the locals to look her and get over 50 sutures .
If something bad does happen there US ins will not cover you and your only hope is a high line of credit on visa.

Umm, you might want to reconsider that given recent events
