116505 with leather Strap

Hey guys, Not really a commoner in this forum but I thought I would contribute some pictures of my watch with an aftermarket strap on cause I was searching for weeks now and haven't really seen anyone trying out their rose gold 116505's with an aftermarket strap ... so I thought I'll put some up with a Hirsch Nature Line I had laying around in case future rolexERS might wanna consider trying it out.... be it for a change of look or just saving their bracelets from everyday wear for that special occasion. Personally, i did it for both .... wife bought this watch for my 30th birthday which is 2 months from now ... so I decided to save the bracelet till then. Took me a week to do cause I was hesitant about lug scratches and nicking the bracelet in the process. Took the plunge today morning....and I'm beginning to like it .....tell me what you think ?

PS : sorry about the pic quality, don't have a good camera handy ....did it with a samsung galaxy note 2

thank you. i can't get it off my wrist ! it takes on a completely new look with the leather strap. The everose hint of copper gives out an almost vintage feel together with the strap. Am surfing right now for customs strap options. Am as well looking for safer ways of removing the spring bars as these straps really wedge against the lug giving really limited access to the bars. looking for the best way to do it without scratching the lugs.

Thanks guys ! Was looking into custom end links and a proper deployment clasp but nah...... it just sets out a well enough image as it is and I don't want to go over the top with it . Would probably be sticking to the leather strap abit longer . Still in the process of ' breaking into ' the strap.. will leave customs for the future.

Very nice. One of the few 40mm Rolex sports models that looks nice on a strap.
