Pre-ordered Top Time Triumph (Ice Blue) today!

Excited and can't wait for its arrival. Anyone have thoughts on this piece so far? I only saw one unboxing on YouTube already.

Thanks TRF fam!

I’d have preferred to see only one shade of the ice blue on the dial and I’m not a huge fan of the Triumph logo on the dial. I know Breitling is proud of the partnership, but I think it limits the market for this watch. I’m sure it’ll still sell out, but a regular production model of this watch color combo would be nice to see.

the Top Time Triumph "Zorro" is a core catalog model, unlimited, but currently selling out quickly ;)

dial is dual layer, brushed silver under translucent ice-blue lacquer - and there is only one shade of blue, the different "colors" and chatoyant patterns are created by the brushing, they appear, "disappear" and change color and intensity in different lighting and angles.

here's a video from the launch event at the Triumph factory in the UK that shows this quite well.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBpe-RNB76c

here's a detail that shows the two dial layers well, the logo visually "hovers" above the dial

there is a numbered LE too, but limited to 270 buyers of the Triumph bike - that version has no chatoyant pattern on the dial.

I saw the watch at my AD yesterday and it is a cool watch. Nothing special though and unless you have a link to the motorcycle brand or are buying it to speculate on value then I would pass. The watch is also thick in proportion to case size. The watch was already sold so someone wanted it. I would have passed if offered. So many other watches that I am interested in.

here's a daylight shot and a "vanished" pattern, no two pics are really the same, quite an interesting watch :)
