Price on Request on Chrono 24

A couple of months back, the watch I was looking for had a price upon searching it up on Chrono 24. Fast forward to about a couple of weeks ago, I've noticed that they have changed it to "Price on Request". This has happened to several listings from different sellers in the same country.

Is this just a way to get you to approach them and ask? I heard that they only do this with coveted pieces?

They probably can’t keep pace with how often prices change or they don’t yet have the watch and need to wait for a request to see how much they’ll need to pay to get one for you. I wouldn’t play that game unless you really want that one. There’s no downside for you on asking though.
