Quick Trip to Boston Recs

Two of my nephews, 21 and 28 and I are heading up for a Sox game. Fun restaurant and bar recs would be greatly appreciated. We are staying in Back Bay but dont mind travelling a bit. We love breweries and Irish Pubs. Looking for something not too touristy. Thanks!

Right in front of Fenway there's a cool brewery! I had an amazing Irish red ale there I think the name of the place is Beer Works. You can go a couple hours before the game. The Sam Adams tour is good too and tasting is free.

Cheeky Monkey if they want a brewery type vibe. It's on Landsdowne St. right near Fenway.

Back Bay is a great place!

For an Irish Pub, wall over to Lir. Or take a cab to the Black Rose (my favorite), and about a $10 cab ride.

For Breweries, Nightshift in Everett is a good spot - although a bit far out, but the new Casino is right there too. I’m not a huge fan of Harpoon, personally.

Bars over by Fenway get a bit gimmicky, but Landsdown Pub is a good spot for a pint before the game.

Plenty of great dinner spots in back bay too - if you need anything feel free to PM me.

Thank You. We had a great weekend. Went all over the city. Had pizza at the original Reginas. Drinks and live music at Black Rose and Durty Nellys. Walked the whole Freedom Trail and pastries at Mikes. We had a great dinner at Eastern Standard also. I loved Boston. Only bad thing was the Dodgers winning. I cant wait go back.
