Is this a fake?

I'm looking at an online auction. These items are from a police sale. I've never seen a Rolex that looks this gaudy. It makes me wonder why anyone would make a fake that doesn't even look like a genuine.
Can anyone affirmatively verify that this is indeed a fake. Looks like the EGP is rubbing off around the bezel. This is the only photo of this watch on the site.

I know you've just joined.....and no disrespect ...
But is that a serious question or are you trolling?
My 5 year old would know that's a fake.

How much are they asking? Do they call it a Rolex or are they clear that they aren't sure what the hell it is? A lot of irony here haha

Not all the sites that claim to be police seizure auction are actually from police departments. If you look at most of those sites while some do contract with law enforcement most items are just consignment pieces.

Yep, I'm embarrassed. I was 99% certain it was trash, and took an uncalculated risk in posting the pic. I informed the seller that they need to throw it in the trash rather than post it for sale.

It has a tachymeter scale, but no chronograph. I wonder what all those pushers do?
