Collectors who haven’t caught on to it’s rarity (approx. 500 total made) in the lineage of the Nautilus line eventually will and these should continue to skyrocket in value.
Very curious to learn more about the watch. Have read the mstanga posts on watchprosite comparing it to the 5712, and I love all these little things people don't necessarily see.

Also, here are some more pictures (minus socks).

Absolutely stunning watch. Huge contrast. I really hope to get the call from my AD soon for one, it would be my holy grail watch. Nice job.

I wasn't lucky enough to have a good history with an AD to get a Nautilus from there, unfortunately. Best of luck, hope you get one soon! The 5712 is a real beauty, and imo a little more interesting than the 5711.

Wow, stunning pictures of your gorgeous 3712! Love learning these subtle but recognizable differences between the 3712 and the 5712.

There are so many small things that make this one different - it's always fun to learn about these.
There's a few articles from mstanga here: https://www.watchprosite.com/patek-p...04773.8273088/ (think there are like 9 parts in total that I could find on watchprosite).

Eventually collectors will catch on and this reference will be much more appreciated and price reflected (although they are trading currently in the 140-150k range!) I see them increasing even further in the future given their rarity. Very smart and wonderful purchase at the same time! Enjoy wearing it!
WOW! How do you know the production quantities? Do you have an accessible source?

I've seen the number thrown around here and there, and a short article here: https://www.watchprosite.com/patek-p...04773.8273088/

Not sure how accurate it is, but given that it was only produced for one year, it is in that ballpark.

It was actually produced for a lot less than one year. Production started in mid 2015, watches were delivered end of 2015. Then BaselWorld 2016 (April) they released the 5712. In experts best guess it was produced for no more than 6-9 months max.

Interesting - I actually didn't know when they started production/delivery exactly. I see mine (the later 4dot series) was produced 02/06.

You received one of the last ones! Because two months later was Basel and the 5712 started production before the show.
