Dial swap is very common, at least in early 90s, in Asia, had my wife's DJ dial swapped at Rolex AD where we purchased the watch. And I believe, same thing with bracelet.

It still is, as long the dial is an original option for the watch.

That was the oddity here in that it wasn’t an option for the 16622 but was fitted by Rolex.

Interestingly, there is an auction on Moda for one of these and seller is claiming a blue dial 16622 was produced for a very short time at the end of the run and only sold in HK as that is where the small batch of watches went. Says he has RSC service quote to prove it (but doesnt provide a picture of it; only a picture of a RSC folder). Interesting nonetheless and would be interested to hear what RSC says about OP's watch.

I can’t see the watch- does it have a premium price tag because it’s rare?
