Very cool! I know they have done many different color variations on the dial, but purple is definitely something different

Roger, it’s me you’re talking to, remember.
You should know by now, my stance on the brand and the business

I’m not the OP from the other thread – just reporting something of potential interest.

And the good news is since there are only 25 pieces, the apprentices should have had ample oppty to work on them :-)

Thanks for sharing!

Here's a YouTube video of it, too. You really can see the purple. Beautiful.

To answer that properly and fully, would require a long post – this isn’t the time.
This thread belongs to the special H&I 5130P pieces, but in brief, the answer is…not much/not really.

Looks great but why Royal Purple when Scotland will be ceding from the Union soon, should be St Andrew's blue or the red of their lion rampant.

Nice colour but I hope we can recognize PR bollocks and not take the 5 years at face value. They did Mecca, they did Beirut and a few others. If each took 5 years we would predate the 5110!!!

I'm genuinely interested why you spend so much time on the Patek forum if you don't like the brand - what's the attraction? There are brands I don't like, I just don't post on their sub forums.

Like I say though, it's a genuine question.
