16520 feedback

Hello TRF,

I'm considering this 16520 from an auction house. It comes with an extra factory porcelain dial.

Year 1989
Serial L686288
Bracelet # 78360
End link # 503
Movement 34284
Caseback 16500

Are you sure that’s porcelain? Hard to tell from the pic but looks like a regular white dial to me…….doesn’t say porcelain In the add either……

My mistake, it’s likely not porcelain.

Hard to evaluate with no price also……..it’s all price dependent…..other than that it’s been polished before and the bezel is not the best…..I think that’s a replacement crown also

Thank you for the reply

Estimates go up to 30K usd, to you what would be fair market value (assuming replaced stem, polishing, bezel condition)

Based on others on the market, you have to decide if condition is average, above, or below. This will tell you where on the price spectrum it falls.

Didn't porcelain dials have the word "chronograph" 'floating'?

I don't think either of these dials are original to a 1989 watch.
