Could you wear this as a casual watch as well?

I’m trying to move into a three watch collection. I like to have:

”weekend” - Omega SMP Professional Diver (nato)
“Daily” - DJ36mm Wimbledon

Third is usually a brown strap watch for office type days or jeans. However, i really love the simple and clean look of the Saxonia Thin 37 in rose gold (pic)

Do you think this could be pulled off for a casual watch as well? It’s simple German design makes me think it can be done, but at the same time WOW is it a beautiful and elegant dress watch.

Thoughts? If not, alternatives?

I wear dress watches (my favorite style) with casual clothing all the time. I'd feel a bit funny with that Saxonia with shorts and my Chacos, but I might if I were wearing boat shoes and a linen shirt.

And by the way, the watch pictured is not the Saxonia Thin.

You could be pushing the envelope here.

We’ll take it before the committee when you get the watch.

Absolutely. Why not? I wouldn’t wear that one to the gym, but with jeans? Sure.

Any watch can be dressed down.

Not every watch can be dressed up, but that doesn't stop people from doing it.

I personally like the contrast of a dress watch worn casually - do it and don’t look back! I wear my Breguet Tradition with black joggers and a tshirt pretty often.

I’m actually considering a Lange 1 Moonphase at the moment and you bet it will be worn casually.
