OP with some self image issues. A watch doesn’t define you. Maybe he just likes the 126lv.

Also, not to worry about your 114060. They were going new for <=6500 usd for most of the models existence. There are many out there. Not same as 126610lv.

There I was with my Sub 114060 and there he was with his Kermit both knowing very well how difficult they are to obtain and the amount of time put in to acquire them or inflated grey prices paid. It felt like Rolex played us with their marketing scheme.

The kermit looked overly large on the gentlemen's wrist and the fact that the bezel was ceramic green was just so obvious that it was a Kermit, it's almost like he chose a watch that didn't suit him just to fit in with the crowd.

It made me wonder if I look silly sometimes also wearing my Sub, it's hard to tell because I cant judge my aesthetic from a third person view, but I feel that the black Sub probably blends in a little better.

Kind of a pointless post but I thought I'd share it here since my GF doesn't care to hear it.
It is probably silly, in a conventional way, to wear a Rolex at all. I mean, at the end of the day it is an extremely overpriced time-telling device.

It's threads like this that make me wish Mars was already colonized for us civilians.

Saw the ceramic Kermit in the wild - awkward

I’ve seen a 114060 on a wrist that obviously needed at least 2 links taken out. It was wearing loose. And large. But still looked good at the right angle.

Of course, I have to say that. My wife decided she liked my watch and said she was going to wear it. Thankfully I managed to take it back. Eventually.

I passed on the hulk at retail once. It wasn’t popular then. I still wouldn’t buy it today. That green just isn’t to my taste. YMMV

Sub, who cares? Live happy and let live happy!!
You went stalking through my previous posts to go and repost my own images, thats weird man. I 100% agree the 114060 is borderline on my wrist size, I wouldn't go any bigger, although I wouldn't judge the size from the photos as angle / lens choice plays a huge role. Again the BB58 probably would fit me better but I prefer the Sub dial and overall quality compared to the BB58 so the extra 1mm in size was worth the compromise.

I still think the green ceramic Kermit looked way out of place, but all that matters is that the owner likes it right?

I'm glad to see I've rustled some feathers with this thread, lots of opinions coming out of the woodwork

It's a pointless thread as I stated but I don't think every thread needs to be ultra serious as this should be a welcoming spot to chat watches even for fun. Some people might feel personally attacked if their Sub doesn't fit them well but that wasn't my intention guys!

The only thing more awkward than the OP's thoughts on the 126610LV was your post/thread.....truly pointless other than to shine a light on how insecure the OP is about wearing a Rolex out in public.

Chastising another man for his choice of wrist wear at a Mickey deez in Saskatoon and then going home and venting to his girlfriend about it and then going on to the internet to vent to strangers about it. Says a lot about our society at the moment. If a dude wears a pinky ring and a choker bedazzled Cuban link necklace then so be it. To each his own. No need to dwell on it for days on end. That is unless you’re the one secretly in to diamond chokers and pinky rings.
