There is not a right or wrong answer just personal preference. To address the date issue once again, if you want it then that is fine but once you know the date, don't you know the date? If you know the date yesterday then you know the date today. If you look at the calendar you can learn what month it is and how many days in each month and even what year leap year is in. I find knowing the date is nothing more than taking the time to think about it. If you need to look at your watch 20 times a day for the date because you can not remember it after checking 19 times you have some other issues going on. Couch it any way you want but each of us has a preference or the preference is no preference at all.

The simplicity and cleanliness of a no date sub just ticks all my boxes. However I do foresee in the near future adding a sub date into the rotation :P

The sub date is great. So is the no date. I've owned both, currently own the 114060, and my advice would be: don't bother, keep the sub date. They're both awesome.

I have a strong preference for the Subs over Sub Dates and if you'd asked before buying, then I would have suggested such.

Now that you have the Sub Date, I see no reason to trade for a Sub.
