However, please note that both black, white, GV and non-GV versions all exhibit the variances regardless of configuration.

Anyway, I have a "Dial A" type. 2012, V series.

I picked up a white dial milgauss just yesterday so still in the 'honeymoon' phase.... but loving it so far. Way heavier than expected but feels just like my 16610 on the wrist (which is no bad thing). The dial is something else though, looks great when the sun catches it. Can see this piece becoming a favorite.

Not a huge fan of that lightning bolt hand, but it would be a better watch if it were at least white gold or stainless, not painted.

I love mine, but am not a fan of PCL, so I use straps. The dial, orange highlights, and crystal lend themselves to many options.

Love mine! Sadly, or happily depending on how you see it, I just gave it to my son when he recently graduated from college. It was his favorite watch of mine, so I was proud to give it to him.

Picked mine up mid-February , the lightening bolt hand was one reason I like it and also not an "obvious" Rolex so a bit more under the radar. It's my first Rolex and just prior to " The Call" I was tempted to buy a 40mms Explorer 2 , looks like I'll have to start saving and convince Mrs T I need another watch!

Love my GV's... please forgive the fingerprints and scuffs, these are not museum pieces, they are my primary daily wearers M-F and I love them. Someday I would love to add a nice white dial MG to my collection.

I bought one of these last year as a gift for my now business partner. He wears it as a special occasion piece with mega pride. Its his first mechanical watch and he never dreamed of owning a Rolex.

Its a beautiful piece and a worthy part of any collectors or lovers collection. Heck I slightly regret giving the one I purchased away ( black dial), I would by lying if I said otherwise.

I didn’t know this either, as it seems (as the title of the thread notes) that info on the nuances of the Milgauss is not as easy to find compared to most other models.

The title of this thread still makes me scratch my head, but I love what I'm seeing. I remember when the Milgauss was reintroduced...there was hardly a MORE popular watch at the time. As Francisco says above....keep 'em coming.
