interesting seiko spring drive

here's something you don't see everyday...

the sweeping second hand looks like a samurai sword cutting across the dial... mesmerizing.

The seiko spring drive watches looks pretty good, but I just can't justify paying thousands of $ for a seiko. But I do like looking at some of their designs, maybe one day I'll get over the name.

Is it a slow date change rather than a snap If so, are all the Seiko Spring Drives like that? Interesting take on the GMT feature. Thanks for the pics.

I love Japanese design. That is awesome. A tad too "out there" to find its way on my wrist, but I sure do appreciate innovative design.

A bit contemporary for me. It is unique. I like a simple slow beat 1520 to 1570 Rolex.
