Spoken like a true Highlander!

I started with no Rolex when I joined, and now I have one. But this forum has made me want more than the one and one day I will break down......

I have not purchased a Rolex since joining TRF, nor do I plan to do so in the near future. The members at TRF have provided me with great information about my present Rolexes, as well other aspects of life with a Rolex. For that, I thank you!!!

TRF has cost me some money. Well, actually JJ cost me some money. I was happy with my meager collection of an Air King and a Tudor Chronograph. I joined TRF and enjoyed the fun for a while, but JJ kept tormenting me with pictures of his then beloved but now long gone Bluesy.

I kept seeing all the Bluesy pics and it kept torturing me, so I saved my money and finally bought one. Thankfully, I got it before the last price increase!

Great Thread TR
Sorry I'm so late in joining in

Since joining TRF I have bought 1 vintage DJ , 1 modern SS DJ, 1 Tudor Chrono. to join my Bluesy and Gold DJ, Breitling, Omega etc etc .

Also bought the wife a Midsize platty

Now I'm next on the list for a GMT IIc .

Even though I bought my wife a new Rollie recently she wants me to give up TRF and would rather I watch porn on the net. (i cracked up when she said that) .

:c heers:

Yup I feel your pain, I just got into collecting watches barely two years and once I found Timezone and some other forums I went through 10 watches, purchased 3 last year, then aquired 7 more this year but sold 2 and now left with 8...I tell you it's an addiction that will never end..I promise myself nomore watch purchases for this year but I am going to Hong Kong end of this year and that place is watch paradise...also wait til u start collecting some other brands...I'm in trouble here as I'm starting to have interest in some of the bigger boys "JLC, AP, GO etc"...I maybe purchasing my first JLC in Hong Kong and it's either the MC chrono or the MC EWC and both are in the 5 digits...This hobby ain't cheap:(

My marriage would never stand up to this type of collecting! And divorce would only hurt it further!
