If you like Blue (even if by 1% more) th n go for it! Otherwise you’ll regret it
Sky dweller Blue is totally different than the milgauss andnis a nice complement to your other black dial!

I was in the exact same situation. I am first on the list for blue. The dealer owner called and offered me the black dial as a favor. There was no pressure from him as he has a list of people waiting to get it. I have seen the black dial and love it. I like the blue dial a lot from the pictures and wanted it because it may have better market value. The owner told me he doesn't know when he will get a blue dial and I don't want to risk the chance of not loving it when I see it in person. So with all the encouragement from all the forum members, I got the black dial. It is amazing looking!! So if you like them equally, get the one you know for sure you love.

I'd take the blue dial in isolation, but if you're split choose the best for your collection.

I just went through this difficult SkyDweller struggle myself, but mine was between black and white. I even put a deposit down on the white then had huge second thoughts and almost called to change to black. Here's what clinched it for me: I went searching this forum and found pics of the white that blew me away. This settled my mind and got me excited about the color I chose. Find pics you love. Find the BEST pics of each, and see which you like better. I also considered the other colors I have went with the one I did not have. Hope this helps.

I think black is dressier, more versatile, and timeless. Go with the black!

Both dial colors are spectacular. However, I could see myself losing the love for the blue dial after the honeymoon. So, I suggest the black dial for the longer haul. Just my thoughts...

Best,

Scott

If I had to pick between the two - gotta say, IMO, that blue dial is stellar...really stands out.

Sheesh, I just ordered my first Rolex, not even on my wrist until tomorrow, and I want them all now....:-)

Blue blue and then blue. You can up your black game a lot quicker than your blue game.

Blue sounds like your first option, and rightly so. It is stunning. Don't think about it too much.

Once you get it on your wrist, you will totally forget about everything else. You really can't go wrong with either, but a black dial Rolex is dime a dozen, a blue dial is much more unique!

Lmao!!!! Milgauss is sweating. My only concern with the blue is that it looks fairly dark (kind of navy) in a lot of photos.

No, the dial changes colour. That's the beauty of blue. I was turn between both and I have opted for the blue. I found the black dial flat and I personally don't have a blue dial watch.

I'd go for the black dial, but that is personal. As they often say here, can't go wrong either way.

Black as this formal and understated vibe to it, whilst still being sporty. The blue has a bit more pop...more sporty....but i would not consider it has being formal....more of an every day watch.....black would look better at work and at evening outs....and blue would look better on the beach, on holiday with a white shirt and jeans...

Wow, what a tough call. I have three black dials and three blue dials, so I guess I'd go with, um, dunno, blue? No, black. No, blue. Er.............

Since you cant decide between black and blue get a BLNR. You will will have your black. And you will have your blue. And you will also have your GMT function.

I’ve been thinking about this watch as well but the dials leave me a bit confused too. To me the white dial is a bit boring, the blue is flashy (which may mean a short timer) and the black seems the best for the long haul...

I was 100% in the black dial camp when they were released. Then I got to try them both on at a Basel event at my AD. My mind soon changed to the blue once I had it on my wrist though.

Blue gets my vote. I would keep the Milgauss too, poor thing!!
