You might try Gray and Sons in surfside/miami. They post a lot of awesome vintage pieces on Chrono 24, get good reviews and generally offer 2 yr warranties.

I've stopped in their store in Surfside a few years ago on vacation. I've heard good things overall, and at the time they had a nice selection. I found their prices a bit high and the polishing a bit exuberant.

Yep. In Miami your main competition is money launderers and folks with unlimited confidence, infinite stupidity and deep pockets.

Gray and Sons in Bal Harbor. A little over priced, but normally broad selection. If you have time, go visit the mall nearby, plenty of good stores to visit along with some good boutiques. As another noted though, too many people with too much green probably push the prices up.

Gray & Sons is basically for tourists ,All their pieces are over priced and don't try to sell them something their offers are ridiculous, they used to have better prices when they where in Coconut Grove.

Any opinions on whether a “vintage” Rolex, say from late sixties to eighties can be relied upon for family wear?
