Here’s the details about the new movement. I posted this in another thread, so some of you have probably seen this already.

So it has hacking seconds hand and a new winding mechanism. Unfortunately the power reserve is the same 35-45 hours as before.

Is it an AC or just weekly? Would it require resetting every other month?

Respect to those who love this. But to me, it looks like it was designed by Wes Anderson. That is not a compliment.

I think the unevenness of the handwriting look on the dial would eventually bother me.

Nice vintage feel to the font.
I’d definitely want to see it on the wrist and if I liked it..
Probably wait for a pre owned one...

Pass for me. Would have liked it perhaps without the week indicator which at least for me is useless and only clutters the dial to the point of being unappealing .. IMO

I do too! At least earlier Wes Anderson - Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums. But back to topic, I'm not sure I'd want him designing dial fonts. The varied spacing in the week days would probably drive me nuts.

I think it looks wonderful. Too expensive, but wonderful.

Not for me. Way too busy. A dress watch should be simple and elegant imo. This is information overload.

Printed, based on the handwriting of one if the designers.

Looking at case dimensions. This should wear very similar to the 5320...

Share similar sentiment with a lot of folks here. I love the overall aesthetic and especially the selected font. There is a lot going on with the dial but I think they were successful with it -- it just works. Agree with the Wes Anderson comment too, but in all the right ways

That being said, I am not sure I love it enough for the asking MSRP.
