5726/1A vs. 5990/1A

Which would you buy? -- the new blue 5726 or 5990?

They are similar in size: diameter both 40.5mm; thickness 11.3mm(5726) and 12.53mm(5990). Their MSRPs are similar: $45,930(5726) and $53,300(5990). Their functions are, of course, different.

I just want to gauge the popularity.

I’d have to see them in person, which is impossible right now...

Based on pictures, the 5990. More useful complications.

Just because they changed the 5726 color to the blue doesn't make better than 5990 for me

5990... wife said i could wear hers if i really want... i think shes trying to steal my spot on the waitlist. I said No

The date windows kills it for me thats why i never cared for 5726. The most flawless blue dial is the 5712a in my mind and I would take that over the 5990

No contest for me. The 5990 is my favorite and only Nautilus I have and I would pick it over every other Nautilus again. But that’s just me.

5726...love the layout. Also, I had a 5980 and it was just uncomfortable while my 5726 is just perfect in terms of presence and comfort.

5711/5712 = model looking dude or gal
5990 = fitness model
5726 = gym bro at 20% body fat...looks good but missing something. It has the thickness but not thick enough, and it doesnt have the pushers the 5990 has which tounds out the watch.

5726 is like a dude missing leg day.

Both amazing watches. I voted 5726 as the 5990 is a bit too chunky on my wrist. Now if the 5990 was a blue dial hmmmmm

Neither reference does much for me. That said, if I had to choose between the two, 5990.

My vote goes to the 5990. I’m with Fat_ninja the date window on the 5726 is out of place.

5726 I’m not a fan of the dial on the 5990 or the case. It would be my last choice of all nautilus to be honest.

Same, but the 5726 might be too thick for me, I'm a bit conditioned for a Nautilus to be thin now, and I do like the AC comp.
