Now that we have Basel 2019, what do you think in retrospect about the 5205G-013 released last year. There were some gripes as it was so similar to a limited release annual calendar from a few years ago. I feel that this is a great option for a PP if you could only have one.

I like simple elegance, but with a touch of pizzaz.

I'd want to have something like the 5208T-010 where it's a one-of or a two-of.

Die to lack of funds, I can likely only have one...and I chose the 5990.

5196 platinum. I have the rose gold version and it’s misleadingly stunning. Plus it wears large for a dress watch. I notice subtle details each time I wear it. The craftsmanship is amazing. I can’t fathom how nice a 5196p wouod be... in person I mean.

I’m a huge 5196p fan too based on photos. My only reservation at that price is the desire for a larger movement and sapphire back

There was one for sale here, 19k. What a steal. By the time i responded, a day after the post, it was gone. That’s my grail patek watch if I can get it under 20. A 5711 would be nice if priced accordingly, but it’s not.

Ever since I was in my early 20’s I have wanted a moon phase Patek.

Still searching for the right one.

If I could only have one Patek watch I am but thinking 5970.

I would have the 3939H in platinum even though Phillippe Stern says the best sound is from rose gold. Just like the weight and white metal.
