Looking for 3940P
Well, after more than a year of searching for the "right PP" to purchase as my first, I purchased a 5205R opaline dial; and I love it!! As soon as I connect with my camera, I'll submit pics. It's absolutely perfect for me as a daily wearer. With the help of a very caring contributor on this board, I was referred to an AD in Pitt, and they've been incredibly accommodating. An absolutely wonderful experience. (Am I allowed to mention any AD's on this board?).
Anyway....now I'm on the hunt for a beautifully preserved 3940P. Anyone have any leads? Thank you all once again, for all your input along the way. I look forward to hearing from anyone regarding my quest for the 3940P. |

I’m a bit biased, but I’d recommend the 3940g instead. Same look, but you get a display back, and all for less $. Either way, it’s a tough watch to beat
