Great link Rodger and for once some pretty accurate information stating acquired and registered the patent for the screw down crown.But wonder why they left the gruen name out,the full name of the company in those early years was "Aegler, Société Anonyme, Fabrique des Montres Rolex & Gruen Guild A.," this means, in translation, Aegler incorporated, manufacturer of Rolex & Gruen Guild A Watches.And it was not untill the mid 30s when the Gruen brothers sold there share in the company to Hans of Rolex.
