ROC availability
So, I almost sold my 26331 Panda today but circumstances forced the buyer to pull out. As it stands I think I am going to keep it and enjoyed a little sunshine with it in celebration :)
I called the NYC boutique this afternoon, partly out of boredom and partly out of curiosity to enquire about wait times. They told me they only had black dial ROC allocations left for 2019?! I had expected no blue dial availability but thought the Panda was less in demand? Another boutique told me the same story. Anyone have any other reference points as I assumed with a little patience these could be picked up new still. New in-house coming perhaps and restricted supply until then? Nothing to add except I love the panda and would have gotten that one (got blue instead) if I did not already have the silver 15400. It's awesome.
I suspect demand shifted when the 15500 was allocated to the 26331. |

I believe LA had 1 at the beginning of April, fully on display side by side with the black.

Maybe that's part of it. "I can't get you a 15500 but how about a chrono sir?". Regardless, I was surprised the black could be had in short order as when I was looking to buy a watch the black dial was harder to get and more expensive on the grey market.

Maybe its just anecdotal to the couple of boutiques I called. It's nice to see steel watches in a case able to be bought!! Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Was told by LV boutique a month ago they could secure panda ROC within 1-2 months. Was offered black and white dial ROC by my AP AD recently as well but passed. Waiting for 15500.

I was able to get a blue 26331 pretty easily. I put my deposit down in March and had it Easter week. I was one of those who wanted a blue 15500, but happy to get the chrono as my first AP.
I wonder if East Hampton has any allocation left. Either way, great looking Panda!
